Production Manager
Production Managers play a central role in bringing a production to the screen. They translate scripts or treatments into practical reality, breaking them down into realistic budgets and schedules. At the preparation stage they organise resources, book locations, negotiate fees, set up casting sessions, and prepare contracts.
During production they manage the day to day running of the shoot, making sure that everything is in the right place at the right time. To find out more about this job profile take a look at the Skillset fact-sheet.
