Editor
Editing is a key process at the assembly stage of a production when the raw material is transformed into the finished product. This stage, known as post-production might also include processing negatives at a film lab, telecine of rushes, sound re-recording, VFX, titling, colour grading, and mastering to negative, DVD, tape or other formats.
The Editor plays a central role and often oversees the entire process through to transmission or distribution. To find out more about this job profile take a look at the Skillset fact-sheet.
