Joe, 14 - Team Play Award
Before getting involved with Sky Living For Sport, Joe was identified as showing signs of disaffection with the school learning environment.
Before, he found it hard to relate to other students, but now his social skills have gone from strength to strength. Other students recognise and respond to this. He has integrated with the group, in turn taking responsibility for helping others to achieve.
Joe is more confident now, and can express himself without getting frustrated. He's off report card, and has worked constructively and positively alongside other students with difficulties.
"Because of Sky Living For Sport, I enjoy coming to school more and take part in more activities. I would like other students to be as confident as I am now in trying new things".
