What’s it all about?
Global Action Plan, Sky’s Charity partner, has been helping communities, businesses and schools to cut their carbon emissions for over 15 years. Now they are using their expertise to develop a new youth-led environmental project, Climate Squad, aimed at combating climate change.
With youth unemployment on the rise, Global Action Plan has devised a skills-based training programme to support young people who want to tackle environmental issues and gain valuable experience and training to increase their employability. Climate Squad seeks to work with over 3000 young people over the next two years.
