Al Gore has long been an advocate of BSkyB's global leadership on climate change.

Following the exclusive interview with Clive Anderson which had its first broadcast on Friday 25th April on Sky Movies Premiere and Premiere HD, alongside the UK TV premiere of his Oscar-winning film An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore sent a message to UK businesses with some tips on how they can each continue to tackle climate change.

The Interview

In this rare half hour interview, former Vice-President Gore talks to Clive Anderson about how the global environmental movement has developed since his film was released two years ago and discusses the high and low points, how the public can contribute, the part Hollywood has played in spreading the green message, and his vision for the future.

An Inconvenient Truth will be shown on Sky Movies Indie, Sky Movies Screen 2 and Sky Movies Screen 2 HD throughout the rest of 2008.

Al Gore's UK Message Video Transcript

Al Gore
I think that businesses by and large in the Uk are ahead of the Government. I have been very impressed at the number of companies that have made a commitment to be carbon neutral, I've been very impressed, as I've said before, about what BSkyB has done, among all the networks in the world it really has taken the lead.
