Benefits to you

Sky Arts broadcasts the very best of the Hay Festival on channel 256 and in HD on channel 257.

This year two exlcusive programmes were broadcast from a specially constructed studio at the festival:

Hay-on-Sky

Sky Arts' daily coverage presented by Mariella Frostrup, featuring interviews and performances with some of the biggest and best names at the festival as well as reports from the day's top sessions.  Aired daily at 8pm from 22nd May - 1st June on Sky Arts

What the Dickens?

Sandi Toksvig hosted Sky Arts' new cultural quiz show featuring two teams, captained by Tim Brooke-Taylor and Dave Gorman, made up of the wisest and wittiest guests at the festival.  What the Dickens? is a lively and humorous test of each team's general cultural knowledge to see if they know their Michelangelo's from their McEwan's.

In addition to broadcasting the best of the festival Sky Arts also created an online resource: the Hay on Sky micro site. The site features a host of content which will grew throughout the festival and now contains clips and footage from Hay on Sky: http://hayonsky.skyarts.co.uk/

Sky is proud to be associated with one of the most influential arts festivals in the UK and will continue to work to make its coverage as accessible as possible.
